This article examines the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the field of economic terminology, with particular attention to how machine learning, automated translation, and AI-assisted discourse shape both the stability and variability of specialized vocabulary. The analysis considers three key aspects: the role of AI in promoting the emergence and rapid diffusion of new economic terms, the challenges of preserving semantic precision across different languages through automated systems, and the implications for education, policy, and mass communication. Drawing on examples from international media, institutional reports, and AI platforms, the article illustrates both the opportunities (greater accessibility, faster dissemination, democratization of knowledge) and the risks (semantic ambiguity, oversimplification, terminological inflation). The findings emphasize the importance of maintaining a balance between linguistic adaptability and terminological rigor to preserve clarity and consistency in global economic discourse.
